The Paterson Avenue Lace Poncho is fun and interesting to knit, and it looks great on everyone!

The design is clever and simple, to ensure an enjoyable knit.
The poncho begins at the neck edge, and is worked in alternating sections of garter stitch and mesh lace.
Increases are hidden in the fabric, while working down toward the bottom edge.

Finished measurements are 24” around neck edge, 60” around bottom edge, and 18” long (measured from neck to bottom edge).

The poncho is knit seamlessly in the round.
Alternate instructions are included for knitting the garter stitch neckband flat, if you prefer, and then just seaming the neckband.

Required skills include casting on, working in the round on circular needles, knitting and purling, increasing (YO and KFB), decreasing (K2tog) and binding off.
