Knit Continental
Most Americans “throw” or “wrap” the yarn as they knit with their right hand. Continental knitters use their left hand to hold the yarn to “pick” stitches – similar to the way many crocheters work. Continental involves less movement to make each stitch and makes quick work of rib and seed stitch.
Class Instructor: Susan
Prerequisite: Participants should be able to work knits and purls independently.
Materials: You’ll need a tightly plied worsted weight yarn with the companion needle. Straight or circular as is your preference.
